Aren't you blown away by McCain's spin.  He has been talking in two completely opposite directions - presenting himself as a mavrick while simultaneously playing to the GOP base and rallying the party (again) behind the same dumb idealogy that they got in to last time.

He acts like cutting ear-mark spending is going to save the economy.  We should absolutely own him on this.

Where do you begin.  This is the dumbest fucking thing in the world to promote as a qualification.

Gov. Palin's utter lack of exposure to the world beyond her little neck of the woods should be a negative, not a good thing to aspire too.

Why is there this idea that common sense can only be found in undereducated, small-town folk?  I've met some pretty fucking stupid people in small towns.  Likewise in large cities.  Fact of the matter you can't swing a dead cat without hitting some stupid motherfucker no matter where you are.

She has demonstrated her lack of knowledge of elementary civics by not knowing what a VP does.  A lack of civility by making fun of someones chosen job (community organizer).  A fundamental lack of awareness of issues beyond her parochial, backwoods township.

But this is not to fault her.  It was and is her life to lead as she fit.

Its with the neocon faction within the GOP that is making a mockery of the election by foisting someone of such limited life experience upon us.  This is political malfeasance and mendacity of the highest sort for a cheap political trick.  Their craven lust for power is destroying the political process and threatens the very nature of what makes our country so awesome.

The rallying cry shouldn't be "Country First", but "Constitution First"!  That is what truly sets America apart.
